Buy Local – Support yourself
Several studies have shown that when you buy from an independent, locally owned business, rather than nationally owned businesses, significantly more of your money is used to make purchases from other local businesses and service providers – continuing to strengthen the economic base of our community. These include case studies showing that locally-owned businesses generate a premium in enhanced economic impact to the community and our tax base.)
Keep Our Community Unique
Where we do business, shop, where we eat and have fun – all of it makes our community home. Our one-of-a-kind businesses are an integral part of the distinctive character of this place in which we live.

Open since 1990 and brimming with energy and nostalgia, The St. Paul Grill is a destination unto itself. Located in the historic Saint Paul Hotel and overlooking Rice Park, the iconic restaurant is known for its refined style, attentive service, and exceptional cuisine.
Join us at The St. Paul Grill – where history is always in the making.
Home to Saint Paul's first settlement, West 7th's history and character lives on in its many bars, restaurants and breweries.
Once filled with vacant warehouses and empty storefronts, one of Saint Paul's oldest stretches is now a hotbed for restaurants and breweries. It's where you'll find staple dining spots like Mancini's Char House and Lounge and Cossetta's, go-to Minnesota Wild pregame spots like Tom Reid's and Seventh Street Truck Park, along with local craft brewers Summit Brewing Co., Bad Weather Brewing and Keg and Case Market, a massive culinary and retail funhouse located in the former Schmidt Brewing space.
Grand Ole Creamery
It’s just a number but it’s a big one. This is the 35 year anniversary of the family-owned and operated Grand Ole Creamery. It is Minnesota’s first and longest-standing premium gourmet ice cream shop in the Twin Cities. We have over 300 recipes created for our customers and often from our customer’s suggestion. From Black Hills Gold to Sweet Cream, we serve flavors you won’t find anywhere else. Our fresh natural ingredients come from local dairies and suppliers. Near the home of the creative writer F. Scott Fitzgerald, this family-friendly place has been a favorite meeting spot for our community. Many celebrities have visited the Creamery for dessert over the years when in town performing or making films. It has been recognized with many awards and has been voted in the top ten favorites at the State Fair.
